What We Do?
How We Make It Greate!
There are three different levels to EV chargers. Level 1, level 2, level 3. Level 1, and level 2 are used mostly for residential spaces, however level 3 chargers are more industrial and use DC power. The difference between a level 1 and level 2 charger is the fact that the level 1 can be plugged into any regular electrical outlet, and is portable. The only problem with the level one is that is the performance is extremely slow, meaning it will take a few days to fully charge your vehicle. Level two chargers are a bit more pricey but boost up the charging time from 3 to 4 days to only a few hours. Level two chargers need a 200-260V Power input and go from 20 and up to 60 AMPs. The higher the amperage the more the performance and charging speed. But keep in mind that the actual usage of the charger is less than the power input. For example a 60 amp Tesla charger only uses up to 48 AMP output. Or a 50 AMP charger only uses up to 42 AMP output.
